Around here we like to drink rum. You can blame the Bundaberg Rum factory being only a short drive from here. So when I spotted recipes for a Moscow Mule online, I decided to trade the vodka for rum and make it a Rum Mule. Though technically, it probably should have been a Bundaberg Mule…
Perfect for your next Sunday Session the Rum Mule Cocktail is refreshing and can be as simple or as complex as you like. I poured the ingredients over ice and left it at that. You can mix them in a shaker if you’d prefer. I decorated with the mint, lime and strawberry, but you can muddle them (squish them) in the bottom of the glass if you prefer. I used party ice, you can use chips. Simple.

Crisp and refreshing, the perfect drink for summer, this cocktail is a go to drink around here. Mostly because we like ginger beer with most things and grow our own mint. Easy peasy.
Actually, with that in mind, did you know you can grow mint from offcuts in a glass of water? Try it. Grab a bunch with its roots (or still fresh looking) from the grocery store, use whatever you’re going to use and chop off the existing roots, dunk them in a glass and hey presto, fresh mint coming right up.
Happy Sunday team. See you again.
